It’s simple: share J E S U S
I heard an acquaintance make a comment to someone that they were not raised in a Christian home, but that they had heard of God. This young lady knew that she & her family were in a season of life that desperately needed prayer. She continued to state that she had heard of Jesus but had no idea if she could talk to Him or how to talk to Him. As I heard her voice tremble making these statements my heart shattered into a million pieces.
It was in that moment that I felt this calling deep in my soul to create a faith based newsletter, podcast or an another platform to simply share the Good News of J E S U S.
*Please know that I did not attend seminary. I have no education based qualifications - I am simply obeying where I felt Jesus leading me by sharing real-life devotionals of what I have experienced in life & how those events connect with the God’s Word. I’m just an everyday mom + wife, leaning solely on Jesus to guide me in all that I do & say. I like to say that I’m out here F.R.O.G’n it.. more to come on the F.R.O.G thing! My prayer is that you can take something positive away from this or insert your own life story & see how these verses show how He is working in you and your life.
I had had several conversations with this young lady, I even told her I would pray for her & her family, yet Jesus Himself was never mentioned.
How is it that I can so easily share my workouts, real estate, Amazon finds, etc on social media...but yet I struggle to share my faith in Jesus & what He has done in my life. Why can’t I be brave + bold enough to share with others this incredible, forgiving, faithful, ever-loving God?!
It’s September. I first felt this calling back in May, y’all...MAY! Why has it taken me all this time to do this? Because. . .
I never felt like I was qualified enough.
I never felt smart enough.
I struggle with understanding the Bible on a daily basis (but I keep reading!)
Who am I to put this content out there for so many family members, friends and absolute strangers to read? And that’s when it hit me. God doesn’t wait for us to be ready, because He knows we would never get there on our own.
We just have to trust in Him & follow His lead.
Where God Guides, God Will Provide.
Perhaps you are where I am. You believe in Jesus, you’ve been baptized, you read your Bible, you go to church. But you still struggle to understand & comprehend the Bible. Or maybe you don’t even believe in God yet. And that’s okay - all are welcome here! And I am SO happy you are! :)
