Trust in YOU

”Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

and lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him, 

and He shall direct your paths.”

-Proverbs 3:5-6

Sometimes this verse is easier to live and abide by than others. Life happens and throws us curveballs whether we're ready for them or not.  When that happens, I heavily rely on this verse to remind myself that just because something in life may be out of my control, does not mean it's out of God'scontrol!

I've seen the kind of emotional choices I can make when I'm in a certain mood or state of mind. They usually don't ever pan out too well if we're being honest. God has a way of gently (or perhaps not so gently) reminding us that He is in full control - so very delicately and intricately weaving the ins and outs of our lives together, not only for our greater good, but for HIS.

So remember, even when life feels chaotic, out-of-control and like it's unraveling at the seams, it's because we have a God who is deconstructing some things to rebuild them even greater than we can imagine. 

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing the big picture when I can only see a zoomed in, close-up snippet that may not seem to make sense to me. Please help guide and direct my steps so they align with the life you have so thoughtfully orchestrated just for me. Your ways are better and I know that I can trust You wholeheartedly with my life.
